Mark Vincent - Lead Pastor

Mark Vincent  was raised in a small village along the Ohio River near Mingo Junction, Ohio, where his faith and calling to ministry first began to take shape. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Bible and Theology from Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky, and later completed his Master of Divinity at Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. His theological formation continued through advanced studies at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, deepening both his biblical understanding and pastoral heart.

For more than 25 years, Mark has devoted his life to full-time pastoral ministry, faithfully serving local congregations throughout Ohio. He has been an ordained Methodist Elder since 2014, bringing seasoned leadership, compassionate care, and a shepherd’s heart to his calling.

Outside of local church ministry, Mark finds renewal and joy in fishing for walleye and perch on Lake Erie, small game hunting, walking, and traveling across the country with his wife, Cristal. He also values spiritual retreats, small group engagement, and educational conferences, which continue to nurture his faith, encourage lifelong learning, and reflect his love for God’s beautiful creation and Christian enrichment.

Mark’s spiritual gifts include preaching, leadership, evangelism, generosity, and hospitality. His preaching blends inspiration and encouragement, consistently inviting listeners to apply God’s Word to their everyday lives. Drawing from scriptural exposition, storytelling, spiritual guidance, and relatable modern illustrations, his messages are shaped by the leading of the Holy Spirit and rooted in the genre of the biblical text. His heart’s desire is to help people to know God, grow in a meaningful faith, and become more like Jesus.

Above all, Pastor Mark hopes to be known not only as a preacher, but as a pastor—approachable, caring, and a joyful person—someone who genuinely loves people and faithfully walks with them on their faith journey.

Mark and his wife, Cristal, live in Batavia, Ohio.
