About Us

Welcome to Mt. Nebo

Who We Are

Whether you’re checking us out because you recently began a journey with Christ, or you want to renew your relationship with your Savior, or you’re just starting to sense God drawing you to Himself – we invite you to join us on a journey closer to Jesus. We’re not perfect. However, we think you’ll find that the majority of people here are sincere about continuing to take real steps of faith.

Created to Worship

Sunday mornings you’ll receive a genuine welcome from people probably much like you. You’ll meet people from all walks of life and dressed in a variety of clothing styles.

Our hope is that once you’re here: you’ll meet some old friends and make some new ones; that you’ll experience the presence of God through the heart-felt worship service; that you’ll be pointed to or be encouraged in a relationship with Jesus; that you’ll hear about small group Bible studies where you can connect for growth; and that you’ll find opportunities to go and serve people on behalf of Jesus

Our Weekend Services

Church can be an intimidating place to visit — especially if you don’t know what to expect. So please know that you can engage with others as much as you want, or do more observing than engaging. We just hope that through visiting with us, you'll experience the hope, love and joy that come from a community of people who love Jesus.

We'd love to see you at one of our worship services! For a more traditional service, visit at 9:00 am. You'll find hymns sung as well as the Lord's Prayer prayed as part of this service. If you prefer a more contemporary service we welcome you to visit the 11:00 am service where you can expect to have a modern style of worship music in acoustic sets. Whichever service you visit we can't wait to see you!

Authentic Worship

At Mt. Nebo GMC, worship is learning to recognize God’s goodness while taking joy in deepening our responses to Him.

We worship, as individuals and as a community, to unite our actions, intentions, and emotions in loving responses to God. It means transforming the ways we think so that what we do and who we are become one — in, for, through, and to the Father, Son, and Spirit.

Teaching from Scripture

We believe that practical, relevant biblical teaching is the catalyst for life transformation. Scripture is inspired by God and our authority regarding Christian beliefs and the guide for Christian living.

We value Scripture—the Bible—as the basis for understanding who God is and how to orient our lives fully around Him. You can expect that each Sunday morning will include a set-aside time for hearing from Scripture, as well as practical teaching surrounding God's Word
