At Mt. Nebo our kids experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.

Children's Church is offered during both the 9 AM and 11 AM Worship Service. Here at Mt. Nebo GMC, we believe that children need to be part of the weekly worship experience with their families,yet have a time to have a Bible lesson that is especially designed for children. Children will be dismissed for Children's Church prior to the time of prayer and message and will return to worship following the message.

Sunday School classes that meet 10:15 AM- 10:55 AM- the classes for all ages-

The classes for children are- 

• Pre-K through 1st grade class taught by Kristina Waterfield
• 2nd grade through 6th grade class taught by Carol Ann King

NOTE- There are also classes for 7th grade through 12th grade and adult groups (please see this information under youth and adult ministries

This small group meets at Mt. Nebo from 4:30PM-5:30PM the first, second, and fourth Tuesday of each month. This group will meet for an after-school snack, study, fun and prayer time. This is a great way for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders to grow in their faith by studying and serving together. This group meets at Mt. Nebo classroom area.

We follow the Western Brown School District school calendar and meet weekly during the school year. In case of inclement weather or times when school may be cancelled or on remote learning, we will not meet face to face.

Upcoming Family Event- Easter Carhop- Saturday, March 23rd- 10:00 AM- 11:30 AM. Families with children through 5th grade will enjoy a time collecting Easter eggs and goodies- Park in the lot between the Ministry Annex and Administration building and walk through the church parking lot for this event. (The event will take place rain or shine- it will be moved indoors in case of inclement weather.

Vacation Bible School

Groups for ages 4 through 6th Grade

Spend mornings as a 'camper' at Camp Firelight. It's time for a summer adventure with God! Explore timeless Bible stories that demonstrate how people trusted God in the face of their own fears and went on to do great things in God's name. This summer adventure will include Bible Stories, Outdoor Games, Snacks, 'Crafts, Science, and Campfire Songs!
