At Mt. Nebo our youth (grades 6 -12) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.

Who: 8th grade through High School students

When: Tuesday mornings 6:50 AM- 7:25 AM

Where: Mt. Orab McDonalds

What: Students 8th grade through high school gather for breakfast, devotions, and prayer before school each week, sharing scripture, fellowship, and prayer. Linda Stover and Brenda Reed lead this group. We follow the Western Brown School schedule and meet on days when Western Brown is in session for students. Contact Brenda Reed to be put on the weekly reminder list for this group.

Who: Middle School Students (grades 6-8)

When: Wednesday from 7:45 AM to 8:30 AM- Devos and Donuts for 2024 school year will begin to meet weekly after Brown County Fair Break

Where: Mt. Nebo GMC Building

What: Youth meet before school to eat breakfast together and have a time for devotions and prayer before heading to school.

NOTE- Devos and Donuts will follow schedule for Western Brown Schools. If WB schools are on a delay, closed, or have a remote learning day, there will be no Devos and Donuts

Who: Grades 7-12

When: Sundays from 6 PM to 7:15 PM

What: We will meet for devotions, prayer, and fellowship. This group will meet the following Sundays in October and November 2024

October 6, October 20, October 27 (time TBD), November 3, and November 17

This is a great time to get to meet with youth who attend different schools and come together to meet as ones sharing a Christian faith. We will also use this time to plan outreach events for the youth.

Who: 4th, 5th, and 6th graders

When: Meets the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Monday of each month 4:30 PM- 5:30 PM

Where: Meets in the classroom area of the building

What: This group will meet for a Bible-based lesson, after school snack, time to pray, time for fun and fellowship.

When: Meets October 6, October 20, October 27, November 3, and November 17 6:00 PM- 7:15 PM

Where: Meets in the classroom area of the building

What: This group will meet for a Bible-based lesson, time to pray, time for food, fun and fellowship.

When: Sundays from 10:15 AM - 10:55 AM

Where: Classroom 2

What: This class is a discussion format-- where youth make Biblical connections to real world situations. This class is led by Jacob Clubb.

September 29- Cookout and Bonfire at the Clubbs 6:00 PM

October 13- Church Fall Festival- 5:00 PM church pavilion

October (date TBA)- Hamersville Trunk and Treat

November 10- Veterans Dinner (youth will plan and serve dinner to honor local Veterans for their service)
